Description

Baxter BioPharma Solutions (BPS) offers commercial manufacturing services for injectable and high potency drugs to a broad range of pharma clients across the globe.

*The Senior Manager, BPS Strategic Marketing is a newly created position tasked with generating business opportunities from analysis of pharma companies clinical pipelines and launched injectable drugs.

* The vision is to create a center of excellence on market forces (supply and demand) and capabilities that can be leveraged by BPS and other groups.

*This person will be a highly analytical and seasoned business leader with the ability to think strategically and generate action plans from insight.

* He/she will own value-driving analyses of molecule pipelines, pharma client lifecycle management needs, and competitor actions and business models that will allow him/her to articulate pharma brand managers lifecycle management needs and develop compelling BPS value propositions.

*Duties and Responsibilities:Conduct regular strategic analysis of pharma company molecule pipelines and launched molecules to generate insights into new business and lifecycle management opportunities.

* Leverage findings within BPS and across Baxter business units Conduct regular strategic analysis of BPS clients and competition to better understand market supply and demand factors, identifying underserved areas that could be high potential business opportunities; be able to understand pharma product management needs and link Baxter solutions to address these needs Partner with tactical marketing, sales, and sales operations group to design the process, tools, and interfaces with existing databases to aggregate, analyze, and distribute information Coordinate with Baxter Pharmaceuticals & Technologies (BPT) Competitive Intelligence function to generate market insights Complete ad hoc requests as needed to support sales and marketing efforts with clients Identify, qualify, evaluate, and select outside vendors, as needed, to support fact gathering (e.

Requirements

Smart, highly motivated analytical thinker and strategic problem-solver Passion for turning data-driven market insights into new business opportunities; demonstrated ability to turn analysis into insights and insights into action Exhibits sound business judgment and grasp of important concepts despite incomplete information Relentless focus on driving results and implementing recommendations Self-starting, hands-on individual who can work independently Experience leading change in a matrixed environment, and influencing across multiple levels Excellent written and oral communications skills, demonstrated ability to communicate complex ideas in a simple way; experience presenting to senior management Strong project management skills and abilities to drive multiple projects at one time Experience: Degree in life sciences (e.
