The programme has been designed to cover a wide variety of contact lens and ocular surface related conditions.
• recent updates on contact lenses and ocular surface disease presented by internationally renowned experts in their field
• round table discussions with debate
• a one-day introductory course in contactology (in French) organised by SFOALC (French National Society of Medical Contact Lens Adapters), aimed at colleagues wishing to expand their basic knowledge in contact lenses
• small group practical workshops - aimed at perfecting knowledge and skills regarding technical contact lens adaptations, including scleral lenses, orthokeratology, hybrids and presbyopia lenses (please note places are limited so early booking is advised)
Each symposium will be led by an expert in ocular surface disease and contactology allowing you to learn about current therapeutic approaches and research.
Up-to-date information about the important overlay between contact lenses and the ocular surface will enable you to perfect your selection of contact lenses, particularly relevant to the sometimes complex corneal and conjunctival environment , resulting in a more comprehensive approach to the patient’s needs.
