|Description||Successfully moving NGS to the clinic will require a multidisciplinary approach and the climate for reimbursement is uncertain with regard to the adoption of new technologies. The fourth annual Personalized Diagnostics conference will address common challenges such as cumbersome and variable sample prep, rapidly changing technology, limitations of instruments, inadequate data quality, and complex and non-standardized data interpretation – all of which demand diverse skill sets. Successes in clinical applications in oncology, CV, and inherited diseases will be examined and the best regulatory route will be debated. The use of molecular technologies promises an individualized approach to healthcare for a broad range of diseases, and this conference will help researchers, clinicians, executives, and regulatory bodies understand how to best employ these technologies in the clinical setting.
