EarthxBanquets Presents Notable Environmental and Policy Leaders In-Person as They Discuss Real Solutions for the Planet

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- A compelling and varied bevy of recognized environmental and policy leaders will lead the conversation about sustainability at EarthxBanquets, a series of intimate evenings the week of EarthX. Beginning April 25 and running through April 27, banquets each night will help extend the EarthX experience offered at EarthxExpo and the nine conferences affiliated with EarthxConference. The Buckminster Fuller Banquet: Celebrating Business Global Impact on April 25 at the Hilton Anatole Dallas will feature speakers Michael Levy, CEO of Crow Holdings, as well as Joel Sartore, 2018 National Geographic Explorer of the Year.

The Theodore Roosevelt Banquet: Cross-Partisan Conversation on April 25 at the Hilton Anatole Dallas will feature speakers Senator Lindsay Graham (R-SC), Chair of the Senate Committee on the Judiciary; Senator Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI), and Susan Eisenhower, CEO and Chairman of The Eisenhower Group, Inc.

The John Muir Banquet: Celebrating Nature Conservation on April 26 at Fair Park will feature Dr. Kirk Johnson, Sant Director of the Smithsonian’s National Museum of Natural History and Katharine Hayhoe, Climate Scientist and Texas Tech Climate Science Center Director.

The Lewis & Clark Expedition Banquet: Celebrating Ranching & Wildlife Conservation on April 27 at Fair Park will feature speakers Kaddu Sebunya, CEO of The African Wildlife Foundation, and Nic Bach, Marine Biologist at Roatan Marine Park.

The Isidro Baldenegro Lopez Banquet: Environment Without Borders on April 27 at Fair Park will feature The Honorable Felipe Calderon; interviewed by Jim Falk, president and CEO of the World Affairs Council; David Yarnold, CEO of the National Audubon Society; and Senator Eduardo Enrique Murat Hinojosa, Senator of the Republic of Mexico.

The Rachel Carson Banquet: Celebrating Our Oceans and Marine Life on April 27 at Fair Park will feature Fabien Cousteau, son of Jean Michel Cousteau, grandson of Jacques-Yves Cousteau, aquanaut, ocean conservationist, and documentary filmmaker; Captain Paul Watson, founder of the Sea Shepherd Islands UN Ambassadors Recognition Program; and both Rudy Reyes and Jim Ritterhoff of Force Blue.

EarthxBanquets will also include a Business Breakfast on April 26 at Fair Park with Mark Victor Hansen, author of Chicken Soup for the Soul, and Crystal Dwyer Hansen of Metamorphosis Energy. That same day, Howard Schultz, former Chairman and CEO of Starbucks, will headline an Energy Lunch at noon at Fair Park.

In addition to EarthxBanquets, the ninth annual EarthX will include three days of exhibitions, a film festival, music, entertainment, learning experiences, discussions, forums, and conferences making it, once again, the world’s largest gathering to positively discuss achievable solutions for environmental change.
