Zyme Communications Strengthens Team And Relocates Cambridge Office

01 August 2017, Cambridge, UK: Zyme Communications Ltd (Zyme), the public relations and marketing agency specialising in the life science sector, announced it has relocated its Cambridge office to the Cambridge Innovation Park (www.cambridgeinnovationpark.co.uk) and strengthened its team with the appointment of Lily Jeffery as Account Executive and Michelle Ricketts as Account Manager.

Zyme has offices in both Cambridge and Manchester and has developed strong relationships in the life science industry since it was founded in 2010. As the company continues to extend its network and acquire new clients, this move from St John’s Innovation Centre to the Cambridge Innovation Park will enable the company to expand its portfolio further, develop new partnerships and allow its team to grow.

Dr Michelle Ricketts joins Zyme as Account Manager. Michelle has several years’ life science communication experience and has acquired skills in press release and content writing, marketing, branding, advertising, event management and social media through her work in the charity sector, agency and in-house marketing teams. Previously Michelle was Science Marketing Specialist and Content Writer at Axol Bioscience. Michelle has a PhD in Genetics from the University of Edinburgh and has previously worked as a researcher at the Institute of Cancer Research and Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute. Michelle will be based at the new Cambridge office.

Zyme has also appointed Lily Jeffery as Account Executive. Lily has a first-class BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Science from Newcastle University where she carried out research on type 2 diabetes. During this time, Lily also worked as a marketing assistant for an online cosmetic research platform where she gained expertise in social media analysis. Lily will be based at the Manchester office.
