Recognized for her work as an actress, model and active humanitarian, Sims is often noted for her savvy sense of style and fashion.  She recently expanded her list of credits with her New York Times bestseller "The Everyday Supermodel," and was just named a contributor for ABC Television Network's "The View." The former Sports Illustrated swimsuit model is open about the challenges that she faced in trying to maintain her body shape while balancing family life with the demands of a career, and she is collaborating with ZELTIQ to inspire women to help them achieve their goals.

"I have always worked hard to be healthy and stay fit, but my body changed after having a baby and there were areas that would not respond to diet and exercise no matter how hard I tried," said Molly Sims. "I believe women want to look and feel their best in every situation, and I encourage doing something that will help you improve your self-confidence. I chose CoolSculpting because it was a completely non-invasive way to help me get rid of stubborn fat that remained after having a baby. Also, because there was no downtime, I was able to resume my everyday activities immediately after treatment."

Sims was introduced to the CoolSculpting procedure by her dermatologist after the birth of her first child in 2012. Despite a consistent exercise regimen and healthy diet for months, she still struggled with slimming down specific areas of her body that had changed after baby. Sims had the CoolSculpting procedure twice on her abdomen and saw results a few weeks following the procedure. After several months, she was able to fit into her pre-baby clothes again.

"We are delighted to be partnering with Molly Sims to talk about the benefits of CoolSculpting for women who are looking for a safe and effective way to eliminate unwanted fat," said Mark Foley, President and CEO, ZELTIQ. "Many women turn to CoolSculpting because they cannot afford the risk and recovery time often associated with more invasive fat reduction treatments. Molly is a perfect example of a very busy mom who sought a little extra help to slim down after having a child. We are thrilled that she has the ability to reach other women in the same situation who may also benefit from CoolSculpting."

The unique CoolSculpting procedure was developed by Harvard scientists and is based on the proven scientific principle that when fat cells are exposed to extreme cold, they die and are eliminated naturally from the body. Fat cells treated and eliminated by the procedure are gone for good, and patients can expect long-lasting results.

The CoolSculpting procedure is FDA cleared. It is available in the United States for the non-invasive treatment of visible fat bulges in the submental area, thigh, abdomen and flank.  In other international markets, it is approved for general non-invasive fat reduction.  The CoolSculpting procedure results in a noticeable and measurable reduction of fat in the treated areas, and the treated fat is gone for good. Most patients can start to see results as soon as three weeks following treatment, with the most dramatic results occurring over a period of one to three months.  Every patient is unique, so patients are encouraged to talk to their physicians about a customized treatment plan as part of the initial consultation.  Additional treatments in the same or multiple areas may enhance the desired aesthetic effect.

The CoolSculpting procedure is available through an elite network of CoolSculpting Centers worldwide. Dermatologists, plastic surgeons and leading aesthetic specialists that offer CoolSculpting can be found at www.coolsculpting.com.

About ZELTIQ® Aesthetics, Inc.
ZELTIQ Aesthetics, Inc. is a medical technology company focused on developing and commercializing products utilizing its proprietary controlled-cooling technology platform.  ZELTIQ's first commercial product, the CoolSculpting system, is designed to selectively reduce stubborn fat that may not respond to diet or exercise.  The CoolSculpting procedure is based on the scientific principle that fat cells are more sensitive to cold than the overlying skin and surrounding tissues.  It utilizes patented technology of precisely controlled cooling to reduce the temperature of fat cells in the treated area, which is intended to cause fat cell elimination through a natural biological process known as apoptosis.  ZELTIQ developed the CoolSculpting procedure to safely, noticeably, and measurably reduce the fat layer.
