After a $350 million deal to open Theranos blood-stick lab testing centers inside Safeway stores reportedly fizzled, the grocer has reached an agreement with another lab partner to open new testing centers in metro Phoenix.
Safeway's deal with Sonora Quest Laboratories initially will include patient service centers in Scottsdale and Phoenix. The first testing center at 32551 N. Scottsdale Road has opened.
