XenoPort, Inc. Files Definitive Proxy Materials and Mails Letter to Stockholders

SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--XenoPort, Inc. (Nasdaq: XNPT) today announced that it has filed definitive proxy materials with the Securities and Exchange Commission in connection with the Company’s 2014 Annual Meeting of Stockholders. Clinton Relational Opportunity Master Fund L.P. and its affiliates (“Clinton”), which reportedly hold approximately 1.8% of the Company’s common stock, have provided notice of their intent to nominate three candidates to stand for election to XenoPort’s Board of Directors and to submit other proposals for consideration at the Annual Meeting.
