Woundcare Firm ConvaTec to Cut 250 Jobs

GREENSBORO, N.C. —A company announced Wednesday that it will close its manufacturing facility in Greensboro, affecting about 250 workers.

ConvaTec officials said the closure of its facility at 211 American Ave. will take place by early 2017, though an exact timeline has not yet been set.

The company said in a statement that the closure is "part of a company-wide project to expand margins across its global supply chain network."
