June 21, 2013 -- WorkSure MedPharma Consultancy (WMC), pioneer of Medical Service KPO in India, introduces Facilitation of Medical Research and Communication (FMRC) program, first of its kind in the country. The FRMC program has been specially designed for assisting the Healthcare Fraternity to undertake and publish research projects. India has witnessed commendable growth in R & D infrastructure over the last six decades. Nevertheless, the nation is still lagging by an appreciable margin in competitive world of biomedical research and communication. There are only 44 Indian journals out of approximately 5600 journals indexed with MEDLINE. According to a survey, the most common reasons for data not getting published are paucity of time, lack of expertise in research methodology, statistical analysis and manuscript preparation. To promote medical communication, Medical Council of India (MCI) also introduced a new regulation in July 2009 Gazette, which makes a minimum number of original research publications in national/ indexed journals, mandatory for promotions.
WorkSure, a growing name in healthcare KPO, has taken FMRC initiative to help bridge the gap and increase India’s share in biomedical research. This unique program aims to promote medical research both at the level of individual physician and hospitals. The key features of FRMC initiative include assistance in developing research plans, guiding research study from concept to publication, statistical analysis & interpretation, rendering support in manuscript preparation and training in medical research methodologies. This will help in accentuating the number of research activities and publications from India. WorkSure™ provides knowledge based solutions to medical, pharmaceutical and biotech organizations. It is a leader in medical affairs, medical writing, clinical data management and pharmacovigilance.
