WMass Biotech Needs Outlined
SPRINGFIELD - About 100 people urged legislators at a public hearing today to increase their support for biotechnology initiatives in Western Massachusetts.
The Legislature's biotechnology caucus held its first hearing on what the industry needs in a nearly three-hour session at Western New England College. About a dozen legislators, mostly local, and industry leaders attended the hearing.
