Why Wrinkles Occur More In Certain Parts Of The Face, Kagoshima University Study

A study that imaged skin from cadavers may explain why wrinkles occur more in certain parts of the face.

Published in the journal Clinical Anatomy, the study found that differences in the number of oil-secreting glands in the skin and the thinness of the inner layer of skin may, in part, explain why worry lines that run along the forehead are usually shallower than the crow's feet that fan out from the outer corner of the eye.
