With more than 30,000 physicians, investors, pharmaceutical industry employees and journalists attending the five-day American Society of Clinical Oncology meeting that just ended, cutting through the noise takes a lot of work and, to some extent, a bit of luck. Of course, having good data – or conversely, failing to meet expectations in a closely watched trial – is a good way to generate some buzz.
