Warner Chilcott Q2 Profit Beats Street; Ups FY Share View

Reuters -- Specialty pharmaceutical company Warner Chilcott Ltd (WCRX.O) posted second-quarter profit that beat market expectations, helped by higher sales of its acne treatment and female health products, and raised its cash net income outlook for the year. For 2009, the company sees higher gross margins and lower research and development costs, pushing its expectations for cash net income per share 5 cents higher to between $1.60 and $1.65 per share.
