Procellera® is the world's first self-contained antimicrobial wound dressing with microbatteries at its surface. Indications for use include partial and full-thickness wounds such as pressure ulcers, venous ulcers, diabetic ulcers, burns, surgical incisions, donor and/or recipient graft sites.

Dr. Sen will give a podium presentation at Session G on May 2, from 9:00 - 9:45am.
Two abstracts, "Evaluation of a Bioelectric Dressing as the Next Generation Wound Care Product in the Battlefield" and "Efficacy Testing of a Bioelectric Wound Dressing Against Clinical Wound Isolates" feature collaborative translational and laboratory research from Diagnostic & Translational Research Center, Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, Henry M. Jackson Foundation and the Combat Wound Initiative.
The remaining five abstracts feature a range of clinical research and case studies, including: "A Study to Demonstrate Efficacy of a Bioelectric Wound Care Dressing in Healing of Acute and Chronic Wounds within a Rehab Center Patient Population" and "Management of Traumatic Wounds with a Bioelectric Wound Dressing" from Bethany Health & Rehabilitation Center in Nashville, TN; "An Innovative Bioelectric Approach to Recalcitrant Wounds" and "Clinical Experience with a Bioelectric Wound Dressing as a Primary and Adjunctive Treatment Method" from Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, TN; and "Improved Healing Outcomes with a Bioelectric Wound Dressing" from Grant Wound Care & Hyperbaric Services in Columbus, OH.
The SAWC is the largest annual gathering of scientists and clinicians in the wound care field in the United States and is a platform for linking scientists and clinicians to advance wound-healing research.
