Volatile AstraZeneca Pharma India Ltd. Rallies On Delisting Plans

AstraZeneca Pharma India Ltd’s board will meet on 15 March to decide on delisting the company’s shares from the stock exchanges. The drug maker’s Swedish parent, AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals AB, had on 1 March written to the Indian unit about its decision to voluntarily delist the company. AstraZeneca India’s board met on 5 March to consider the proposal but informed the stock exchanges that it had decided to defer the delisting plan and seek more details on it from the parent company.
