VetiCell Launches Veterinary Stem Cell Preservation Program

ATLANTA, March 14, 2016 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- VetiCell, LLC has announced the launch of its proactive stem cell preservation program for horses and dogs. Animal owners can now save the stem cells from a young and healthy animal for potential use in the future. 

Even though stem cell therapy is not new, and has been used in thousands of animals with orthopedic disease and injury, its potential is far from fully developed. Regenerative medicine research continues at a rapid pace.  In university research centers, stem cells are being studied by veterinarians to treat osteoarthritis, eye diseases, immune-mediated and inflammatory diseases, as well as organ disorders.
