Vascular Solutions Discloses Indicted CEO's Pay as Other Execs Gets Investigated
Vascular Solutions Inc. says law firms are investigating the company and its leaders following the federal felony indictment of the medical device company and CEO Howard Root.
"Such investigations often result in litigation," the Maple Grove-based company wrote in a regulatory filing, warning of potential securities and shareholder lawsuits. "If litigation were to be commenced, our defense of such litigation could divert the attention of management from the day-to-day operation of our business or result in us incurring substantial costs and liabilities, irrespective of the merits of the litigation."
