UVP, LLC Announces ISO 9001:2008 Certification

UVP, LLC, a leading developer and manufacturer of BioImaging Systems and Laboratory Products, announces that the company has achieved ISO 9001:2008 certification for its quality management system. “UVP is committed to providing exceptional customer service and quality products designed and manufactured to exceed our customers' expectations,” explained Leighton Smith, President and CEO of UVP. He further states, “Obtaining ISO certification is further evidence of this commitment to our customers and all of us at UVP are proud to be part of an ISO certified company."
The ISO 9001:2008 standards relate to quality management systems and are designed to help companies ensure that they meet the needs of customers. UVP's quality policy states its commitment to quality with objectives established to meet customers' quality requirements, enhance customer satisfaction and continually improve practices.
Smith points out that, "This certification covers our entire Upland, California operations from R&D, engineering, purchasing, manufacturing, marketing, sales, customer service, and technical support. Our quality management system has helped us improve the way we do business in all of these areas, resulting in a consistently high level of quality and a focus on continuous improvement."
