unithink NV Names John Cline CEO

NIEL, Belgium and MORRISVILLE, N.C., Dec. 6, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- unithink NV announced that it has named John Cline CEO of the company. Cline comes to unithink after successful stints at National Clinical Research and etrials, where he was a founder and CEO.

While at etrials, Cline led the company through angel and venture funding rounds that led to the successful IPO in February, 2006. A finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award in 2007, Cline was responsible for leading the company operations for over six years and garnering a spot on the Inc. 500 list of fastest growing privately held companies in the U.S. etrials provides software used by drug companies and contract research organizations in the running of clinical trials, and was acquired by Merge Healthcare in 2009.

Cline has over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including senior sales and marketing roles at Organon Inc., Caremark, a division of Baxter, and MiniDoc AB, a publicly held Swedish corporation. Mr. Cline also served as President, CEO and director of Expidata Inc., which was acquired by etrials in 2000. Cline is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a BS, Journalism.
