UNC Study Finds Link Between Migraines And The Chest Pain Angina

Migraine sufferers tend to be more prone to the chest pain called angina than other people are, although they appear to be no more likely to suffer the heart attacks often associated with angina, UNC researchers say. It's therefore possible that people who have migraine headaches are more sensitive to pain than others, according to Kathryn Rose, research assistant professor of epidemiology at the UNC School of Public Health. Rose led the study published in today's issue of the journal Neurology.
