Transcat, Inc. Increases Secured Revolving Credit Facility

ROCHESTER, N.Y., Aug. 26, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Transcat, Inc. (Nasdaq:TRNS) ("Transcat" or the "Company"), a leading provider of accredited calibration and compliance services and distributor of professional grade handheld test, measurement and control instrumentation, announced today that it has executed an amendment to its $20 million secured revolving credit agreement, increasing the funds available under the amended credit facility to $30 million. The amended credit facility matures on September 20, 2018.

Borrowings under the amended credit facility may be used for working capital and acquisitions. Borrowings available for acquisitions increased to $15 million in any fiscal year pursuant to the amended credit facility, compared with the $10 million available under the original credit facility.
