Topin & Associates Selects an Account Supervisor to Manage Teva Neuroscience, Inc. (TEVA)'s Global Brand

CHICAGO, Dec. 3, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Health care communications agency Topin & Associates (topin.com) has chosen Alexander Leavitt to lead one of its global brands as Account Supervisor. Leavitt will manage Azilect (rasagiline tablets), a treatment for Parkinson's disease and a product of Teva Neuroscience.

"Alex has a diversified range of experience that will be extremely valuable to our client, Teva Neuroscience," said Tanja Noren, Vice President and Account Director.

Prior to joining Topin & Associates, Leavitt worked as Senior Account Executive for Abelson Taylor. He began his career in the industry as a Traffic Coordinator and quickly picked up additional responsibilities. Most notably, Leavitt successfully helped relaunch and grow AndroGel (testosterone gel) 1.62% into a $1 billion brand and top-selling men's health product. He was involved in the product launch of Dexilant (dexlansoprazole), a proton pump inhibitor, and also managed the ACTOS (pioglitazone) account.

Leavitt earned a Bachelor of Science degree in telecommunications, industry & management with a minor in business marketing from Indiana University, Bloomington, Ind.
