5/6/2011 9:26:26 AM

May 06, 2011 -- Almac’s Clinical Technologies business unit announced today that Todd Kole has joined the company as Vice President of Clinical Project Services (CPS) and a member of the Executive Leadership Team. As Vice President of CPS, Todd will report directly to the President of Almac Clinical Technologies and will oversee clinical project management and drug supply services globally.

Mr. Kole has extensive experience in the biopharmaceuticals industry, with specialized expertise in clinical technologies and clinical supplies management. He has served in a variety of capacities involving the provision of Interactive Voice and Web Response Systems (IVR/IWR) technologies, clinical and technology personnel management, as well as global project and client account management.

Mr. Kole joins Almac after spending 12 years at Clinphone and Perceptive Informatics. At Clinphone, Mr. Kole served as Director of US Operations before being promoted to Vice President of Global Client Services. In operations roles at Clinphone he was responsible for approximately 175 staff, ensuring operational accountability in managing the quality and timeliness of IVRS design, build, delivery and support. As VP of Client Services at Clinphone, he held global oversight responsibilities for the Project Management and Client Account Management divisions. During his tenure as Vice President of IVR Operations at Perceptive Informatics, Mr. Kole held P&L responsibilities and was a member of the Perceptive Executive Management Team. In that role, he was integral in working with clients and operations personnel during the acquisition of Clinphone by Perceptive Informatics.

Jim Murphy, President of Almac's Clinical Technologies business unit comments on Mr. Kole’s appointment: “We are very pleased that Todd Kole has joined Almac. He brings a tremendous amount of industry experience to our firm that will help Almac maintain high levels of operational excellence as we continue to grow. Further, given the depth of his drug supply expertise, Todd will be instrumental to the continuing advancement of Almac’s market leading total drug supply chain management service. We welcome Todd to Almac and know he will have a profound impact on the development of the team and our client relationships.”
