TKL Research, Inc. To Present Interactive Webinar On Risk-Based Monitoring

(Rochelle Park, N.J.; April 8, 2015) — TKL Research, a full-service clinical research organization (CRO), will hold an interactive webinar exploring key considerations of risk-based monitoring (RBM), at 12 p.m. ET on Friday, April 24. Presented by Lynn King, Senior Director of Clinical Monitoring at TKL, “A Case Study in Risk-Based Monitoring” will explore the challenges and opportunities of RBM in the execution of clinical research trials, using a case study as a springboard for discussion.

The webinar will also cover how sponsors and CROs can work together to develop a comprehensive clinical monitoring plan to identify and collect the data needed for study success. King will also discuss the impact of RBM on visit frequency as well as how to conduct effective RBM training and staff assessment. Participants will have an opportunity to provide feedback and ask live questions during the webinar.

“Risk-based monitoring is about more than just patient safety,” King said. “By evaluating risk and creating a plan to deal with it, clinical trials are more effective and efficient. RBM includes a set of tools that enable us to achieve the desired quality of outcome with the most efficient use of time and money.”

King has more than 20 years of experience in the drug development industry, including monitoring and project management experience, as well as coaching, mentoring and training roles in both the CRO and sponsor environments.

Participants may register for the seminar online or visit TKL Research for more information.
