Third Frontier Funding to Aid Parker Hannifin Corporation Expansion; Creating 34 New Jobs
A Mayfield Heights industrial equipment company plans to spend $15 million building a polymers lab in Ravenna that is expected to create 34 new jobs, the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
Parker Hannifin will receive a $2.3 million investment from the Ohio Third Frontier program, the newspaper reports, as it consolidates some of its polymer research in from Europe and elsewhere in the U.S. at the Ravenna facility.
The company plans to work with the University of Akron and the Cleveland Clinic Foundation to help help it make more of a play in medical device polymers, the newspaper reports.
