J.P. Morgan Securities LLC and BofA Merrill Lynch are acting as joint book-running managers, and representatives of the underwriters for the offering. Leerink Swann LLC is also acting as a joint book-running manager. The Medicines Company intends to grant the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 825,000 shares of its common stock.
