The Galien Foundation Announces Inaugural Webcast Of The Galien Forum

NEW YORK, Oct. 1, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The Galien Foundation announced today that the Fifth Annual Galien Forum will be streamed via a live webcast.  The Galien Forum, conducted in conjunction with the prestigious Prix Galien USA Awards, features roundtable discussion on the most critical, global healthcare issues and challenges.

Register to attend the forum in-person or sign-up to view the live webcast by choosing "package I" at http://www.galienfoundation.org/en/rsystem/product-choose. The cost to stream the full webcast will be $75.00 for registration in advance, or $125 for registration after October 25th. The forum will take place on October 28th from 7:00 AM ET 5:00 PM ET.

This year the program will be comprised of six featured panels: "Heart Attack Guidelines," "Cancer Immuno Therapeutics," "US Health Reform," "The Brain Initiative," "New Agenda for Global Health" and "The Future of Digital Health."

In addition, the 2014 Galien Forum will feature a debate on "The Role of Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Cancer Research," and a Keynote Address by Cori Bargmann, Ph.D., The Rockefeller University, New York.
