The Edwards Lifesciences Corporation Fund Awards More Than $1.8 Million to 81 Nonprofit Organizations

IRVINE, CA--(Marketwire - November 13, 2008) - Edwards Lifesciences Corporation (NYSE: EW), a world leader in products and technologies to treat advanced cardiovascular disease, today announced that The Edwards Lifesciences Fund, a philanthropic donor-advised fund, is awarding as part of its fourth annual grant cycle more than $1.8 million to 81 nonprofit organizations. Including these grants, the company expects the Fund to award approximately $2.3 million by the end of this year, bringing the total grants awarded from the Fund since its inception in 2005 to more than $7 million.
