The Cambridge Crystallographic Data Centre And SciTegic, Inc. Announce The Release Of GOLD Virtual Screening Protocols For Pipeline Pilot

10/19/2005 5:08:51 PM

The Cambridge Crystallographic Data Centre (CCDC) and SciTegic(R) are pleased to announce the availability of integration components that allow CCDC's industry-leading GOLD docking program to be accessed through SciTegic's innovative data pipelining software, Pipeline Pilot(TM). This integration will allow Pipeline Pilot users to construct robust, automated virtual screening protocols that rely on GOLD's validated and accurate protein-ligand docking and scoring to rank corporate, vendor or virtual compound libraries accessed or generated from within Pipeline Pilot. Such a process allows chemists and biologists to prioritize compounds for synthesis and screening based on their predicted binding to one or more targets. The integration components are freely available to existing Pipeline Pilot and GOLD customers.
