Teva Wins $170 Million Contract To Make Vaccine In Forest

Teva Pharmaceuticals has secured a contract worth about $170 million to supply the U.S. military with a vaccine manufactured exclusively at the company’s Forest facility.

The contract, announced Monday, took effect in December and will continue for five years. Teva is the maker of an adenovirus vaccine commissioned by the Department of Defense to combat the spread of infectious respiratory disease in basic training camps.
