Tempe to Woo Biotech Companies
Tempe and four other Valley cities are launching a major recruitment effort - and a trip to Boston - to bring new biotech companies to the Valley.
A coalition led by the Arizona Department of Commerce and including Chandler, Phoenix, Scottsdale and Surprise will be in the Massachusetts city May 5-9 for the annual Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO) Conference. The event is a big draw for global science corporations, educational institutions and governments.
