Symmetry Medical Inc. (SMA) Completes Distribution Agreement With Device Technologies to Drive Expansion in Australia and New Zealand

WARSAW, Ind., May 30, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Symmetry Medical Inc. (NYSE:SMA), a leading global source of innovative medical device solutions, including surgical instruments, orthopedic implants, and sterilization cases and trays, announced today that its subsidiary Symmetry Surgical, Inc. has completed a distribution agreement in Australia and New Zealand with Device Technologies Australia, PTY Ltd. for the distribution of its direct surgical product portfolio. Under the agreement, Device Technologies will offer leading brands from Symmetry Surgical, formerly Codman Surgical Instruments, and SSi.
