Strategic Medical Earns Stevie Awards In Both The 2015 International Business Awards Program And 12th Annual Stevie Awards For Women In Business
Company and Executives Earn Awards in Several Categories of Each Program
NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. … November 30, 2015 … Strategic Medical, an operator of 10 diagnostic imaging centers throughout Orange County, Calif., announced today it is the recipient of multiple Stevie® Awards in both the 2015 International Business Awards and the 12th Annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business programs.
In the International Business awards program, Strategic Medical earned three bronze Stevie Awards: Maverick of the Year as well as Executive of the Year - Health Products & Services for President and Chief Executive Officer Antony Clarke; and, Woman of the Year for Maureen Khamsi, Vice President of Marketing and Operations.
The International Business Awards are the world’s premier business awards program. All individuals and organizations worldwide – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small - are eligible to submit nominations. The 2015 IBAs received entries from more than 60 nations and territories. More than 3,700 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories.
In the Stevie Awards for Women in Business, Khamsi earned a Silver Stevie Award in the Female Executive of the Year – Business Services –11 to 2,500 Employees category and two bronzes: Woman of the Year – Industry and Woman of the Year - Business Services.
The Stevie Awards for Women in Business are the world’s top honors for female entrepreneurs, executives, employees and the organizations they run. All individuals and organizations worldwide are eligible to submit nominations – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small. The 2015 awards received entries from 31 nations and territories. More than 1,300 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in 90+ categories.
Clarke was recognized as Maverick of the Year and Executive of the Year for his leadership role in the integration process involving the Company and MemorialCare, a leading Orange County health system, which Strategic Medical became part of in 2014. Khamsi’s efforts working in tandem with Clarke pre-and post-merger to ensure a seamless transition process for patients and referral sources was also acknowledged by judges of both competitions.
