SpineSmith and Celling Technologies Announces New Vice President of Sales

1/24/2011 7:38:18 AM

AUSTIN, Texas, Jan. 24, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- SpineSmith and Celling Technologies are focused on developing innovative technologies around biomaterials, hardware and point-of-care adult stem cells. Chuck Reynolds adds valuable experience in sales and marketing to launch these unique devices to the United States market.

Kevin Dunworth, Founder and CEO, comments, "To stay in front of the emerging market of regenerative medicine, we needed an experienced executive with a skill set in biologics and traditional implants. With the recent launch of the VisuALIF device and the growing demand for our ART-21 adult stem cell portfolio, Chuck is a good fit for the demands of our unique product portfolio. With the developments in adult stem cells and our unique biomaterials, we expect sales to grow significantly in the coming year."

Chuck's background provides over 20 years' experience in the spine, trauma and biologics markets with senior positions in sales, marketing and education. Chuck began his career with Bristol Meyers Squibb and most recently held executive sales and marketing positions with Osteotech, Lanx and Pioneer Surgical. Chuck has specific experience in building direct and distribution sales teams across the United States. His experience also lends itself to new product launches and building markets for unique medical devices.

Chuck has made a career out of partnering with companies that are innovative and uniquely positioned in the spine industry. "My attraction to SpineSmith and Celling Technologies is the product portfolio and potential for the emerging market of adult stem cells. The collaboration between scientists, engineers and surgeons is an innovative approach to the next frontier of medicine. The companies have truly found a niche in developing systems around point-of-care adult stem cells. I believe the pipeline of products will provide huge opportunities for revenue growth for years to come."
