Speedel Holding AG Invites Shareholders to Extraordinary General Meeting

BASEL, SWITZERLAND--(Marketwire - July 24, 2008) - Speedel Holding Ltd. (SWX: SPPN) today published the invitation for the Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) to be held on 14 August 2008. A key agenda item is the election of new members to the Speedel Board of Directors. The Board of Directors recommends the election of Dr. Raymund Breu, Joseph Jimenez, Jonathan Peacock and Joerg Walther as new members to the Board. Each person recommended is currently employed by the Novartis Group.
