Rancho Dominguez, California - February 27, 2010: Spectrum Laboratories Inc. has added three new Molecular Weight Cut Offs (MWCO); 0.1-0.5 kD, 300 kD and 1,000 kD MWCO’s to its line of Float-A-Lyzer® G2 to offer the broadest MWCO range of ready-to-use dialysis devices. All 9 Float-A-Lyzer G2 MWCO’s feature Spectrum’s proprietary ultra-pure biotech grade Cellulose Ester (CE) Membrane with precise pore rating and low protein-binding and without heavy metal and sulfide contaminants. The cylindrical tubing geometry prevents sample dilution (associated with cassette-type devices) and provides open access for total volume retrieval by pipette. Available in 3 volume sizes (1 ml, 5 ml and 10 ml) and 9 MWCO’s, only the Float-A-Lyzer G2 assures a 95-98% sample recovery while maintaining 99% sample purity and <5% sample dilution.
Designed for Ease-of-Use and Leak Prevention
The leak-proof screw-on cap with sealing o-ring provides easy access with included pipette for loading, in-process testing and sample retrieval, without the risk of needle punctures. The included floatation ring improves sample buoyancy and vertical orientation during dialysis. No additional kits, buoys or accessories are required. The Float-A-Lyzer G2 is packaged dry and ready-to-go with all components included.
