Sparo Labs Gets FDA Clearance For Lung Measuring Device

Sparo Labs, the St. Louis-based medical device startup, was given clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for its Wing device, which measures lung function to help people manage asthma and other respiratory conditions.

The milestone means Sparo Labs, led by co-founders Abby Cohen and Andrew Brimer, can start selling the device in the United States.
