Span-America Medical Systems, Inc. Reports First Quarter 2014 Results

Span-America Medical Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:SPAN) today reported its results for the first fiscal quarter ended December 28, 2013. Net income for the first quarter of fiscal 2014 was $666,000, or $0.22 per diluted share, compared with $1.4 million, or $0.46 per diluted share, in the first quarter of fiscal 2013. Net sales for the first quarter of fiscal 2014 were $14.9 million compared with $21.7 million in the first quarter of fiscal 2013.
