Space Still Available in Juno Therapeutics's New Seattle Building

Construction just started on Juno Therapeutics' (Nasdaq: JUNO) new headquarters in Seattle's South Lake Union, and the developer of the project thinks the rest of the 12-story building could be leased up in just six months.

Alexandria Real Estate Equities (NYSE: ARE) is developing the Alexandria Center at 400 Dexter, where Juno has leased 90,000 of the project's 287,000 square feet and has options for more space in the building. The project at 400 Dexter Ave. N., which is next to UW Medicine's research campus in South Lake Union, is scheduled for completion in early 2017. Alexandria Chief Executive Officer Joel Marcus, however, estimates the building will be fully leased well before then.
