Solis Women's Health Names James Polfreman President and CEO

Solis Women's Health, the nation's largest independent provider of screening and diagnostics for breast cancer, is pleased to announce that James Polfreman has been appointed President and CEO.

Mr. Polfreman will oversee the company as it continues to expand its nationwide network of clinics devoted exclusively to the screening and diagnosis of breast cancer, which currently serves over 400,000 patients in five states.

"James has a track record of delivering world-class healthcare services in a highly competitive market while also producing exceptional bottom-line results," said Solis Chairman Matthew Witte. "We look forward to the addition of James' proven leadership skills as we seek to expand our platform in existing and new markets."

Prior to assuming the leadership of Solis, Mr. Polfreman served as CEO of the Retail Healthcare Businesses at the Memorial Herman Hospital System in Houston. During his seven year tenure, he built the retail division from the ground up to make it Houston's most profitable market leader in outpatient services. Mr. Polfreman oversaw a portfolio comprised of numerous freestanding imaging and breast centers, physical therapy clinics, ambulatory surgery centers and laboratories, with a total of 1300 employees and net revenues of more than $350 million per year.

"I am impressed by the exceptionally high quality service Solis offers to women, hospitals and insurance companies," said Mr. Polfreman. "I look forward to leading the company at this exciting time and am grateful to both the Board and the management team for placing such confidence in me."

With evidence that annual mammograms are effective in detecting breast cancer in its earliest stages, Solis Women's Health was established to provide the highest standard of care and services in a positive atmosphere. The company was founded on the premise that by focusing exclusively on the detection of breast cancer, employing only experienced fellowship-trained breast physicians and utilizing state-of-the-art digital equipment, it can produce significantly better outcomes.

"Mr. Polferman is a talented, dynamic and passionate individual," said Solis Board member Jill Anderson. "His personal dedication to women's health will be essential in furthering one of Solis's core values -- providing women the very best experience in breast care. Cherrill Farnsworth, Solis Board member, adds, "I have watched James Polfreman working in the healthcare services space for the last twelve years in Houston, and he is truly a remarkable strategist and leader, who understands how to convert perfect service into profits. I really look forward to seeing him take Solis to the next level as the national provider that all women recognize as the place you can trust for women's imaging."
