SmartCardio is a programmable wellness tracker that monitors a user's cardiovascular system, and has the potential to save a person's life by warning them about an impending heart attack or potential stroke. It is capable of capturing a full ECG, and keeps a historical record in order to immediately detect any anomaly. SmartCardio is completely wireless, portable and needs only 6 electrodes in order to capture a full ECG. The device keeps track of a user's health and sends the analysis to a remote server where all of the data is stored. It also keeps the wearer connected to a team of board certified cardiologists who are capable of monitoring the user's current ECG in real time, as well as their past ECG results. In order to benefit from this device, all a person needs is the SmartCardio device and the set of 6 electrodes. They then download the free app to their smartphone, and set the emergency contact list to determine who will receive an alert should a health problem ever be detected. All emergency contacts can also download the app, which means they can help monitor the health and well-being of a loved one. Upon initial use, the SmartCardio device will take a series of ECGs while the wearer is in a resting state. The results of these initial tests will be the basis for comparison to future ECGs, which will prevent a "normal" irregularity from being seen as an emergency.
