Shimadzu Medical Systems USA Welcomes New Sales Manager For Interventional X-Ray
TORRANCE, Calif., Feb. 28, 2017 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Shimadzu Medical Systems USA, a subsidiary of Shimadzu Corporation, is pleased to announce the addition of Fred Eans in the role of National Sales Manager for the Interventional X-ray business.
In his role, Fred will provide sales leadership for all sales of the Shimadzu Medical Systems USA interventional X-ray Products. The Trinias Interventional X-ray platform rounds out Shimadzu's comprehensive X-Ray product offering and "positions" Shimadzu as a leader in X-ray medical imaging.

Stevener goes on to explain: "Fred comes to us with extensive background in the imaging field, and specifically in Interventional X-ray". Most recently, Fred held the position of Interventional X-Ray Business Manager for Philips Healthcare where he helped to lead a regional sales team, develop new strategic customers, and establish sustainable customer relations while also growing the customer base and market share.
Fred joins Shimadzu with experience in the hospital setting as a Director of Radiology and a supervisor of CT Imaging, after being honorably discharged from the U.S. Navy, where he served our country for almost 20 years as a corpsman.
