SGS Life Science Services wins European Outsourcing Award for Best Contract Analytical Project at CPhI Worldwide 2010

SGS’s Life Science Services division is pleased to announce that it received the European Outsourcing Award for ‘Best Contract Analytical Project’. The European Outsourcing Awards, presented annually, are sponsored by Via Media, publishers of Pharma Magazine. The awards recognize outstanding achievements of outsourcing providers in 10 categories ranging from "Most Improved Process/Plant Facility" to "Most Effective Tech Transfer/Scale Up". For each category, three finalists were identified by a panel of judges representing various facets of the bio/pharmaceutical industry. Winners were announced in Paris at a gala dinner and awards ceremony held during CPhI Worldwide, one of the largest expositions for the pharmaceutical industry.

The winning submission from SGS involved its new service for Gas Analysis, an area which has been the subject of recent regulatory focus.
