Seeing Machines Says US FDA Marketing Approval Given for TrueField Analyzer

LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Computer-based imaging software developer Seeing Machines Ltd said it has received marketing approval from the US Food and Drug Administration for its TrueField Analyzer (TFA) medical device. The company said it will be able to commercially introduce the device in the US market having received the FDA clearance, allowing it to remain on track to launch the TFA in late 2007. The device helps doctors measure defects in a patient's visual field.
