Seattle-Based Startup Cerevast Therapeutics Raises $10 Million

Redmond biotech company Cerevast Therapeutics has raised $10 million as it continues to test a headset it hopes will one day be used to treat stroke patients.

That brings the company's total fundraising up to nearly $32.5 million, according to company CEO Bradford Zakes.

The company was formed in 2009 and announced earlier this year it had passed its first interim safety analysis as it rolls out trials of its "Clotburst ER" device.
