SANUWAVE To Hold First Quarter 2016 Financial Results And Business Update Call On Monday, MAY 16, 2016

ALPHARETTA, Ga., May 06, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- SANUWAVE Health, Inc. (OTCBB:SNWV) announced today that the Company will release financial results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2016, after the markets close on May 13, 2016.

The Company will also host a conference call on Monday, May 16, 2016, beginning at 9AM Eastern Time to discuss the first quarter financial results, provide a business update and answer questions.

On March 31, 2016, the Company closed the final tranche in an equity offering with select accredited investors raising additional total gross proceeds of over $250K. The net proceeds of this offering will be used to fund the Company’s FDA submission of its Phase III clinical trial data for treating diabetic foot ulcers using the Company’s dermaPACE® device, for working capital and general corporate purposes.

Through the additional equity offering, the Company issued 4.5 million shares of common stock on a fully converted basis at a price of $0.06 per share. The Company also issued to the investors warrants to purchase up to 4.5 million shares of common stock at an exercise price of $0.08. If exercised this would bring an additional $360K in capital to the Company. The warrants are immediately exercisable and have an expiration date of March 17, 2019.
