San Francisco-based Wearable Intelligence is just about $500,000 shy of closing a recent equity funding round in support of its mobile computing systems, according to the company's SEC filing.

Wearable Intelligence has made headlines for its development of a PHILIPA-compliant Google Glass platform for healthcare settings. The product includes context-aware data alerts, procedural checklists, video training and telehealth communication, according to the company's website.
