SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Samsung Electronics America, Inc., a subsidiary of Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd, today announced the launch of its first tablet-based ultrasound system – the Samsung UGEO PT60A. With its performance, slim and compact size and ease-of-use, the UGEO PT60A is designed to satisfy all applications in the Point-of-Care market – the fastest growing medical segment in the healthcare industry. This latest device is among a number of innovative medical imaging products Samsung is showcasing at this week’s American Society of Anesthesiology (ASA) annual meeting at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, Booth #2739.
