SAB Biotherapeutics And US Army Team Up To Treat Hantavirus

SIOUX FALLS, S.D.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--SAB Biotherapeutics, Inc. (SAB), a leading biopharmaceutical development company, has teamed up with the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases (USAMRIID) to address the potentially deadly hantavirus using a novel approach to developing protective antibodies against it. Their work, published in the November 26, 2014 online edition of Science Translational Medicine, provides proof of concept for producing antibodies against a broad range of human pathogens, including hantavirus.
